Quickstep softboard underlay goes in conjunction with Quickstep standard underlay.
These 4mm fibreboards offer improved sound reduction and help to eliminate unevenness in the subfloor making them ideal for use over wooden floorboards.
This is of great importance because installing your product on an uneven subfloor can lead to a variety of problems.
There is also improved sound reduction with this product, which makes this a popular choice in offices where the noise of people walking across the floor can cause a distraction.
This product is not suitable for underfloor heating and does not have a damp-proof membrane.
